Bill’s Pizza

This hidden gem features killer pizza at great prices. Red checkered tablecloths, friendly staff and free-flowing chianti create a laid-back and familiar ambiance. A few minutes in this place and you’ll feel like you’ve been coming here for years. As far as the menu goes, order the Elton John pizza – trust us. Just remember to bring cash or your debit card as that’s all they accept.

Shanghai Reds

Shanghai Reds is known for their fish tacos (Anthony Bourdain-approved), live music, strong drinks and friendly crowd. There’s an awesome outdoor patio and a bar to grab a drink if there’s a wait. Plus they have all-day happy hour on Sundays.

FARM

Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about brunch. This beautiful and cozy garden hideaway, tucked away from the hustle of downtown, will make you feel like you are dining in the south of France. While they offer dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, brunch is truly their bread and butter. Coffee is served French-press and Bloody Marys come with bacon. You’ll find traditional French dishes mixed in with other popular items featuring French flare, like their chicken and waffles served with French gravy. Everything is fresh and they proudly work with local farmers.

The Reef Bar

This small and casual Tiki bar is located at the classic Palm Springs motel, Caliente Tropics, just a few minutes from downtown Palm Springs. The decor and dim-lit ambience will whisk you to a far away place, not to mention keep you nice cool in the hot summer months. And when the sun goes down, venture out to the  pool-side area to relax. Try the coconut shrimp and their famous cocktail, the Painkiller.
